The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the UK’s largest professional body for the practice of acupuncture, with a membership of over 3,000 professionally trained acupuncturists, who have achieved membership by successfully undertaking degree level training (or equivalent) in acupuncture.

We set benchmark standards for best practice in all aspects of acupuncture, oversee and accredit acupuncture education in cooperation with the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) to ensure excellence in training. We contribute to the development of national healthcare and government policies.

The Education Manager will continue to develop and implement the BAcC’s education strategy, in partnership with education consultants and our Advisory Group for Education and Professional Standards (AGEPS).

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have excellent organisational, project management and leadership skills alongside key experience in developing education standards and related strategy.  Experience and understanding of working for a membership organisation is desirable.

Closing date for applications Monday 7 November 2016.  Interviews will take place on 14 November 2016.
