All That Is

In the tradition of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, diagnosis is made using the practitioner’s senses alone. Functioning as an instrument, receiving the sensory information of colour, sound, odour and emotion, the practitioner relies entirely on what presents in the moment. Colour, sound, odour and emotion give a unified message and do not contradict each other, as they are the distress call of the primary element. They engage our senses and still our minds, ensuring we are present with all that is.
Gerad will look at how this particular style of acupuncture can help both the practitioner and patient live in the present, where all healing occurs.

His lecture will include the aetiology, pathology and treatment of influenza, the Hepatitis group of viruses and Lyme disease. Live Music - Our line up this year

Rachel Birkin. Friday & Saturday

Drawing on a talented pool of young string and wind players, Rachel and her fellow musiciansbring a fresh approach to classical ensemble playing. Their concert appearances encompass such as the Holly Wells rooms in Oxford, local public houses and beautiful stately homes. The group has also been fortunate to play with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Brodsky Quartet, European baroque orchestra, and many jazz and rock ensembles.

Paul Reynolds. Sunday...

Paul Reynolds has been playing music since the age of 14. Over the years he has played in many types of bands from experimental jazz funk fusion to bluegrass and traditional folk. Paul is now in the process of recording an album under the name Ting Jin (a listening energy cultivated in tai chi). Although Ting Jin features many different musicians, today Paul will be playing his songs the way they were written - just him and a guitar. He hopes that his album "listen clear" will be available by the end of the year.

And more

Magic with the inimitable Ian Souch from the Magic Circle, the renowned Quartet Quasimodo from Brighton to give us sophisticated jazz sounds during pre dinner drinks and evening meal. Dominic's World Music boogie party to dance the night away, plus some surprise guest appearances... Saturday Evening is party night!
