Membership Services Officer

Circa £33,000 per annum pro rata

Permanent, part-time (21 hours per week)

We are looking for a Membership Services Officer to join our small membership team. Working alongside the Admissions and Student Membership Manager and the Membership Database Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring that the BAcC’s members are offered a high level of customer service and in supporting the organisation to achieve its aims and objectives.

The successful applicant will be the main point of contact for our members, and will ensure they receive a responsive and high-quality service. They will develop membership growth and retention strategies, including promoting membership to key external audiences and monitoring membership satisfaction throughout the year. As such, they will be an excellent communicator and able to quickly build a rapport with individuals in order to effectively assess and meet their needs. Experience of dealing with health professionals and students, as well as experience of working in a membership organisation, are desirable but not essential for the role.
